Gibson Partners changes name to Act2 Strategists,
Builds on reputation for developing actionable plans that work
August 11, 2008 - Pecatonica, Illinois -- Effectively immediately, Gibson Partners has changed its name to Act2 Strategists, reflecting the firm’s expertise in helping companies translate business strategy into action. Since launching the firm three years ago, founders Andrea Gibbs and Angela Larson have helped many diverse businesses achieve success.
“Act2 Strategists delivers plans that perform,” said Andrea Gibbs, business strategist, trainer, and speaker. “We ensure plans are ‘worked’ not just sitting on a shelf. Through facilitating, coaching, training and motivating our client teams, we get everyone engaged in the strategic process. And we follow through by establishing measures for accountability, accomplishment, rewards and celebration.” Angela Larson, business strategist, trainer, and coach, further elaborated on Act2’s bias for action.
“We see development of a business strategy as the first step, or act one,” explained Larson. “The next step, implementation, becomes act two. While both steps are very important and interdependent, we see many plans without clear, actionable items that are connected to an organization’s vision for the future. The launch of Act2 Strategists includes the unveiling of a new logo, tagline and website,www.act2plan.com. The branding, creative strategy and website were developed by Ignition Studio in Rockford, Illinois.
