Encore Performance: Act2 Trainers Facilitate Strategy Course for NICNE

This month, Andrea Gibbs and Angela Larson, for the third time, facilitate a strategy course for the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence. The course, "Strategic Thinking and Planning" is delivered in four weekly sessions as part of NICNE's Leadership Certificate through Rockford College.

The course provides an overview of strategic plan development with emphasis on the five steps of strategic planning, various approaches to the planning process, visioning and scenario building, and process faciitation. In addition, participants examine barriers to plan implementation and how to overcome them.

Angela and Andrea also teach "Advancement" (marketing and promotion) as a component of NICNE's Leadership Certificate. For more information about the Leadership Certificate, contact Karen Ream at 815-394-4384.
